  • By Road from Delhi: Approximately 660 km, around 10-11 hours by car.

The quickest way is to take a direct flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) in Udaipur. Alternatively, you can take a train from Delhi to Udaipur, it is an overnight journey.

Best Time to Visit: October to March, when the weather is pleasant.

Day-wise Itinerary for 3 Days:

Day 1: Explore Udaipur’s Heritage

  • Check-in: Arrive in Udaipur and check in to your chosen accommodation.
  • Jagdish Temple: After getting settled, head to Jagdish Temple. It’s a stunning Hindu temple located in the heart of the city. Timing: All days open, between 4.15 AM to 1 PM & 5.15 PM to 8 PM

  • City Palace: Explore the magnificent City Palace complex, which houses museums, and courtyards, and offers stunning views of Lake Pichola. Timing: All days open(9.30 AM to 5.30 PM). Ticket: Adults:₹ 30/person, Children:₹15/kid and Camera fee:₹200.
  • Lake Pichola: In the evening, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola to enjoy the serene views of the City Palace and Jag Mandir. Jag Mandir is an island palace located in Lake Pichola. Explore its stunning architecture, and peaceful gardens, and enjoy the mesmerizing views of the lake. Timings: All days open, between 9 to 6 PM. Boating ride changes: Daytime 400/person and Sunset:700/person. Winter boat 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and summer 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Day 2: Lakes and Gardens

  • Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh): Start your day with a visit to the Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh) for stunning sunrise views. Timings: All days open(9 AM to 5 PM), Entry Fee: ₹110 per person for Indians, ₹300 per person for Foreigner, ₹55 for 2-wheelers, and ₹300 for 4-wheelers.
  • Fateh Sagar Lake: Now visit Fateh Sagar Lake, another picturesque lake in Udaipur, it’s a beautiful artificial lake. Enjoy the speed boat ride here or simply enjoy the scenic beauty while strolling along the lake’s promenade. You can also explore Nehru Park here. Timing: 8 AM to 6 PM, No Entry Fee, Boat Ride Prices: ₹30 per person for Regular Boat Ride, ₹100-200 per person for Motor Boat Ride, ₹200 – 400 per person for Speed Boat Ride.
  • Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or street food near the lake.
  • Saheliyon Ki Bari: After lunch, discover the beauty of Saheliyon Ki Bari, a well-maintained garden adorned with fountains, kiosks, and marble elephants. This was built for the royal ladies. Timings: All days open(9 AM to 7 PM), Entry Fee: ₹10 per person for Indians, ₹50 per person for Foreigner.
  • Return to the City: Return to your hotel or try some Rajasthani cuisine for dinner.

Day 3: Adventure and Culture

  • Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway: Begin your day with a visit to the Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway. You’ll get panoramic views of Udaipur from the top.
  • Vintage Car Museum: Next, visit the Vintage Car Museum to see a fascinating collection of classic cars, including luxury cars used by the royalty of Udaipur.
